Kevin McKinley comes to Veracity with over 34 years of non-destructive evaluation (NDE) experience beginning in the U.S. Air Force where he served over 20 years. Previously, McKinley worked as a Field Service Engineer in the NDE Group at a leading power generation products and services provider. As part of his responsibilities, McKinley acted as the prime development engineer for the General Electric Gas Turbine NDE Development program. He authored or coauthored over a dozen field procedures and presented a paper at the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) on inspection options for GE Frame 7 components.
Prior to joining industry, McKinley finished his career in the Air Force as the Course Superintendent at the Nondestructive Inspection School and Department of Defense Joint Oil Analysis School. McKinley was instrumental in taking over the training for all Air Force inspectors on the Pratt & Whitney 4th Stage Low Pressure Turbine Eddy Current Inspection Course. His expertise in managing resources and personnel brought the course on board 4 months ahead of schedule and saved the Air Force a projected one million dollars.
McKinley graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics and a Minor in Aviation Safety. He also has two Associate Degrees in Nondestructive Testing Technology and Instructor of Technical and Military Sciences from the Community College of the Air Force.ASNT Level III — Cert #138069

Curt Evans comes to Veracity with over 30 years of non-destructive evaluation (NDE) and Quality Assurance experience. Curt honed his knowledge, skills, and abilities in nondestructive testing, metals fabrication, and quality assurance while serving a 21-year career with the US Air Force (USAF). Prior to retiring in 2006, Curt was a Chief Master Sergeant at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center responsible for Depot Quality and Transformation Chief; additionally, Curt served as the USAF Nondestructive Inspection (NDI) Field program manager where he was directly responsible for equipment, training, certification and auditing standardization for all 168 NDI Field labs which included 2,200 NDI technicians.
Prior to joining Veracity, Curt was a supervisor over Product Quality Management (Quality Assurance) within the US Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Armaments Center (formally known as Armament Research, Development, and Engineering Center-ARDEC). In this role, we was directly responsible to oversee supplier quality on hundreds of weapon and ancillary military products.
Curt holds a dual specialization MBA in Project Management and Supply Chain Management, Bachelor of Science in Professional Aeronautics, and an Associate Degree in Metals Technology (NDT specialization). He holds ASNT NDT Level III certifications in Magnetic Particle and Liquid Penetrant, as well as certifications with American Society for Quality (ASQ) as Certified Quality Auditor and Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence.
Curt is also the author of ASNT’s 2019 book “Programmed Instruction Series: Introduction to Nondestructive Testing” ISBN 978-1-57117-441-3.
Scott Kennedy has over 22 years of NDE experience in both the aerospace and power generation industries. Scott joins Veracity after serving in both the commercial and field service sectors of a major supplier of power generation products.
Scott’s experience in both the maintenance and commercial side of the power generation industry make Scott a key person in Veracity’s organization. Prior to that, Scott served 12 years in the U.S. Air Force as a Nondestructive Inspection Craftsman and was instrumental in the development of critical NDE inspections.
Baucum has two Associate Degrees in Nondestructive Testing Technology and Instructor of Technical and Military Sciences from the Community College of the Air Force.
Nick Ledesma began his NDT career when he enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1994. He retired Honorably after 22 years of service. While in the Air Force, Nick became a Department of Defense Certified Occupational Instructor in Nondestructive Inspections.
After leaving the Air Force, Nick brought his extensive NDT experience to the Veracity team. He serves as Veracity’s Training Manager and Corporate Level III where he currently holds ASNT Level III certifications in PT, MT, ET and UT.
